THE RAPE OF A SWEET YOUNG GIRL (68) aka In Trouble; Le Viol d’une Jeune Fille Couce. Were the members of the flower power “Now” Generation carefree children – or amoral sociopaths? This serious Canadian art film definitely sides with the latter. Our lovely brunette heroine finds herself with child, and doesn’t know who the father is. After a series of vignettes illustrating her “disconnect” from society – a loveless affair with a Moroccan man and her indifference to her next-door neighbor’s suicide, her three macho brothers show up. Vowing to find the father of her child, they embark on a terrifying road trip. The titular event is deeply and profoundly shocking and just when you think the proceedings can’t get anymore depraved – baby shows up! RAPE OF LOVE (78) aka L' Amour Violé; Violated Love. When Nicole is run off a deserted country road by a van full of howling strangers, she's carried to a secluded spot in the woods and forced to strip in the dusty headlights. The grinning barbarians circle around her slapping and pawing at her body while she whimpers, begging for release. They drag her to an empty cabin, throw her down and violate her from both ends. They force her to suck and fondle, and all she can do is cry. This nightmare intensifies when, upon spotting one of the men working at a garage, she finally decides to press charges. As a result, her fiancée walks out on her in a selfish fit, and her unsupportive mother throws up her hands. Nicole receives visits from her attackers' families who try to buy her silence ("May I ask how much is my ass worth?!"), labeling her proud and conceited when she refuses to drop charges. "Getting raped is no accident. The world is one dung-hill of fornication! What's your little rape? A drop in the bucket." Yipe! RAPE SQUAD (74) aka Act of Vengeance. An orange jumpsuited, hockey mask wearing psychopath stalks women, forces them to give him a teary rendition of "Jingle Bells" as he violates them, then demands that they tell him how great he was after! Several of his victims get together and vow to track him down, unaware that he's tracking them! Hiding behind the skirts of Women's Rights this seedy spectacle uses victims' mistreatment by "the System" as an excuse to get down and just wallow in it and is easily the most perverted, R-rated film ever released by American International Pictures. RED LIGHT IN THE WHITE HOUSE (77) aka Presidential Plaything. Another amazing slab o' sleaze from overlooked and underappreciated auteur Paul Leder (My Friends Need Killing; Vultures). When the strong-willed widow of a former Senator campaigns to fill his vacated seat, her opposition  secretly hires a reporter to start digging the dirt. And he finds it by the wheelbarrow full when he starts interviewing people from her past. Where to begin? The marriage to the gay movie star? Maybe the lesbian tryst? Or how about her previous occupation as a high priced hooker? Hmmm? It's decadence and corruption galore in this tawdry, tawdry tale that gives new meaning to the term, "inside the beltway!" Order

THE REFLECTING SKIN (90) Seth Dove is a little boy growing up in rural America during the 1950’s a place of almost unimaginable horror … His mother is an abusive shrew, his father is a closeted homosexual and his brother (Viggo Mortensen before Lord of the Rings) returns from the military after witnessing atomic bomb tests in the Pacific. As bro suffers radiation sickness, Seth suspects his next-door neighbor (Lindsey Duncan) is a vampire out to drain the life from him! All the while, a sinister black Cadillac cruises the plains in search of young victims. Luckily, he finds an aborted fetus in a barn to spill his troubles to. REVENGE FOR A RAPE (76) Way above average TV movie from way underrated director Timothy Galfas (Sunnyside; Black Fist). Mike “Touch” Connors (probably best remembered for his role as TV P.I. “Mannix”) plays a mild-mannered geologist who turns into a relentless killing machine after his expectant wife (Tracy Brooks Swope) is brutalized by three yahoos while on a camping trip. Not what you’d expect and not played out the way you’d expect it to be, this one’s a winner! Order

REVENGE IS MY DESTINY (71) "The war took his eye, his wife took his heart, all he had left was a hunger for revenge!" Hunky Chris Robinson plays a one-eyed Vietnam vet who returns from the war just in time to get mixed up in his stripper wife's murder and a complicated blackmail scheme. A great trashy little movie that took us literally YEARS to find! Directed by Joseph Adler. Co-stars Elisa Ingram, Sidney Blackmer and (Ooh! Ooh!) Joe E. Ross as a sleazy nightclub owner! Order

RIDE IN A PINK CAR (74) Taking its cue from such early-70s classics as Billy Jack and Walking Tall, Ride in a Pink Car is an enjoyably tacky action/exploiter about a womanizing hick (aging Glenn Corbett) who returns to his small town Florida home after believed killed in action in Vietnam, and finds that not only has his wife remarried but the town has been taken over by corrupt forces who don't take too kindly to his presence. Highlights include the funky title song and the hot pink Plymouth Cadillac which pops up at various intervals throughout the film (but which actually has little to do with the story). Order
