She decides immediately that she has to meet this man and goes on a wild sexual odyssey in search of him. Directed by Nelson Lyon. Highly recommended! Order TENDER LOVING CARE (74) Three nurses try to keep pace with life, love, and the landlord in a world of drug addiction, imperfect romance, and premeditated murder. Part operating room drama, part violent thriller, with a hint of blaxploitation, there's still plenty of nudity, sleaze and tragedy to satisfy the Jaded Fuck in all of us. And be sure to crank it up when Buck Flower goes loco as a deranged bicycle seat sniffer who blackmails a narcotic-pilfering nurse (busty Leah Simon) into free sex and cash payments for life! Solid exploitation from Ilsa creator-director Don Edmonds. BONUS: Just because we love you, this 2-DISC set includes the rarely seen extended version running a full 10 minutes longer at NO ADDITIONAL COST!! Now that's TLC, baby! Especially when they're dressed up in little cowboy outfits, riding around on Shetland ponies, and walking under saloon doors! Order THREE IN THE ATTIC Order THREE IN THE CELLAR Order THREE WAY WEEKEND (81) Rare Emmett Alston softcore sex comedy set in the great outdoors. Amazing what you can do with some cheap rubber masks and a couple of lesbians. Order THE TRAVELING EXECUTIONER Order T. R. BASKIN (71) Chicago is no place for the single gal, this extremely bitter comedy warns. 25-year-old Candice Bergen plays the title character fresh off the plane from small town Ohio to make her fame and fortune in the Windy City. All the bad things you expect happen: her rent’s expensive, her job is in a typing pool in a faceless conglomerate, her co-workers are gossipy bitches and all the men she meets are creeps. James Caan fixes her up with his old buddy Peter Boyle, and all of this comes to light over the course of a surprisingly chaste evening. No car wrecks or plane crashes, just the story of two lonely souls in an indifferent city. Among all the film rarities listed here, this is probably among the rarest, a genuinely GOOD movie about people and emotions told in an effecting manner. It’s avoided being released to DVD and video – until now! (The scene where Bergen attempts to rent a room from a hyperactive stewardess is gut-bustingly hilarious!) (review by Greg Goodsell) Order THE TRIAL OF LEE HARVEY OSWALD Letterboxed Order TRIP WITH THE TEACHER (74) aka Deadly Fieldtrip. Cheesy drive-in fodder starring Zalman King and Some Other Guy as evil One Percenters terrorizing a school bus full of co-ed cuties and their teacher. Zalman sports a wild pair of shades and snickers wickedly, when he isn't busy scandalizing squealing schoolgirls. Order THE TROUBLEMAKER From broadcast Order TWENTY DOLLAR STAR Paul Leder Order TWO IDIOTS IN HOLLYWOOD (1988) Two losers, unable to find gainful employment or get laid ditch their shithole apartment in Dayton, Ohio and move to Hollywood. Within hours of their arrival, one of them successfully sells a TV pilot based on the Pac Man video game while the other is framed for the accidental death of their landlord. In the meantime, a colorful array of characters wear masks, shriek at the camera, appear nude, wear war paint, flail epileptically and sing really terrible show tunes. Based on an off-off-off Broadway play, this played the Los Angeles Film Festival where it was soundly denounced as "the worst film of this festival or any festival of repute ever!" Admirers of Skidoo, Myra Breckinridge and Forbidden Zone -- where the audience is envious of the drugs the filmmakers are on -- will take to this film in a big, big way. Gorgeous print too! (review by Greg Goodsell) Order TWO PEOPLE (73) Hey, everybody! See TV’s "Bionic Woman" Lindsay Wagner TOPLESS! Woo-hoo! Yes, she’s topless about 80 minutes into this largely forgotten romantic weepie by director Robert Wise. Wagner plays a cold-as-ice fashion model who meets the charisma-impaired Peter Fonda while on a fashion shoot in Morocco. Fonda is a Vietnam War deserter who decides to face the music back in the states, and the two meet cute on a train ride. Eventually they fly to Paris, fall in love, fuck, fly to New York and make some very hard life decisions. Lots of travelogue scenery and heart-rending melodrama ensue. Oh, did we tell you that Lindsay Wagner goes TOPLESS at one point? Yes, it’s her, no body double! Woo-hoo!! (review by Greg Goodsell) Order |
